Char Dham Yatra Route from Haridwar

Haridwar → Barkot → Yamunotri → Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Guptkashi → Kedarnath → Badrinath → Srinagar → Haridwar (via Rishikesh). This route is carefully designed to ensure comfort and proper altitude acclimatization throughout the pilgrimage.

Char Dham Itinerary from Haridwar

Drive to Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. En route visit Kempty Falls, then continue straight to your hotel for the night halt.

Drive to Hanuman Chatti, from where the trek to Yamunotri begins (6 kms), either on foot, by horse, or by doli at your own cost. On arrival at Yamunotri, pilgrims traditionally cook rice wrapped in cloth by dipping it into the hot water of the thermal kund and carry it home as "prasad". Near the temple, pooja can be offered to the Divya Shila. After taking a holy dip in the warm waters of Surya Kund and having darshan of Maa Yamuna, return to Hanuman Chatti and drive back to Barkot.

Drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi. Check in to your hotel and visit the Vishwanath Temple in the evening before the night halt at Uttarkashi.

Proceed to Gangotri (3048 mtrs), enjoying the picturesque Harsil village, the Bhagirathi River and magnificent Himalayan views en route. After Gangotri darshan, return to Uttarkashi for the night halt.

Early morning drive to Guptkashi through beautiful Himalayan valleys. Check in to your hotel for the night halt.

Morning drive to Gaurikund, from where the trek to Kedarnath (3548 mts) begins, on foot, pony, or doli, or optionally by helicopter. Carry personal medicines, heavy woollens, toiletries and clothes for the overnight halt at Kedarnath. Check in to your hotel, visit Kedarnath Temple, and stay overnight.

Early morning, after temple darshan, trek down to Gaurikund. Later, drive to Guptkashi, check in to your hotel and rest for the night halt.

Drive to Badrinath via Chopta and Ukhimath. Check in to your hotel and in the evening visit Badrinath Temple for the Aarti. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Early morning, after a holy dip in the Tapt Kund, have darshan of Badri Vishal. Visit nearby sights such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Charan Paduka, Bhim Kund and the source of the Saraswati River, all within 3 kms of Badrinath. Later, drive back to Srinagar for the night stay.

Early morning, visit Narsingh Temple, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Shankaracharya Math, Muni-ki-Reti, the thirteen-storey temple and Swarg Ashram in Rishikesh. Drive to Haridwar and drop at the railway station. Tour terminates with cherished memories of the Char Dham Yatra.
