Dharamshala

Also spelt as 'Dharamsala', it is one of the most frequented hill stations in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The word 'Dharamshala' literally means an inn attached to a temple. The place has gained worldwide fame due to the large Tibetan community that it features. The hill station is divided into Lower Dharamshala (Dharasala itself) and the Upper Dharashala (or McLeod Ganj).

Kasauli

It is a small but picturesque hill station, perched at an elevation of 1,927 m. From Shimla, the hill town stands at a distance of 77 km. Some of the most attracting features of this tourist destination include its colonial charm, quaint shops, beautiful orchards, cobbled paths, gabled-roof houses etc. The town was developed by the British during the British Raj in India.

Khajjiar

It is popular among tourists as 'India's Switzerland'. Covered with dense Devdar forests, Khajjiar is situated at a distance of 27 km from Dalhousie. The natural beauty and the hill town landscapes are simply soul stirring. Don't miss a visit to the Khajjinag Temple, dating back to the 12th century.

Kullu and Manali

Honeymooners visit Kullu-Manali in large numbers. The picturesque town of Manali occupies a position in the lap of the Kullu valley.
